Designed for O-360 and smaller displacement engines where the seven-row baffle mounted oil cooler is inadequate. Depending on the engine type or the high heat climate you operate in your oil temps can be optimized using a ten row oil cooler. The standard baffle mounted oil cooler location will not allow for a larger cooler, this mount has been designed specifically for the RV-8/8A utilizing a ten row oil cooler. The 4130 steel tube mount clamps firmly around the engine mount using a special neoprene rubber channel for a secure chafe free installation. This kit comes complete with powder coated mounts, light weight composite cooling air duct to efficiently directs air over the cooler while allowing for engine baffle movement and oil cooler mounting hardware.
